her mind afloats, drifting thru vague thin air
searching for a place, somewhere — anywhere
or could it be something — anything
that holds contentment, answers — certainty?
no, it’s not possible they say.
this is a world full of uncertainty, you’re living in.
a world where everything you know may turn upside down in a matter of seconds
a world where everything you believe may crumble down just when you see it strongest.
but those are notions she ignores.
she lets herself lost in deep thoughts,
one flashing after another.
each flowing thought leaves her heart withered
longing for a shimmering beam,
to soothe the heart, to wash away the fright.
there’s none; nothing comes to sight.
so she wanders, whichever the light steps of her feet may lead
wishing for the warmth of a smile to catch..
